First we were busy with the holidays - lots of holiday and family parties, then we were out everyday the week I was off then mad busy when I went back to work on the 5th...then now..I'm f*cking sick! I am NEVER sick!!! I have cold and cough..my nose is killing me after blowing my phelgm out so many damn times. The vicks and tissue with vicks really helped alot :) I'm just happy that Jeff's here taking care of me. He's the best ..so sweet and patient and loving. I hope he doesn't catch my germs ;)
I finally had some time tonight to write an entry since we're home chillin' cause I'm sick and cause of the snow storm that was supposedly the worst for the season. The snow today was definitely not as bad as last month's on 12/19. It was such a headache driving through that with the traffic and stupid people who can't drive!
I finally coaxed Jeff into watching Slumdog Millionaire today (in this snow storm and in my sick state)...after wanting to see it for like the past 2 months. It took us long to watch it cause first I couldn't find a theatre which played the movie, it initially only came out in small theatres who play independent films then it finally came out in regular theatres, but Jeff & I didn't have time to watch it. It was def worth it....the story and the way it was filmed was really good! It was a really great film :) Next movies to watch will be Milk and Revolutionary Road. Both look really good and both have great actors/actresses. Can't wait. I just have to figure out when we will have time to watch both.
Anyway, I still can't believe Christmas and New Year's flew by!! We're in 2009!! All the holiday shopping and dealing with the crazy shoppers was definitely worth it. Seeing the kids' faces after they opened their gifts is what's the holidays is all about. They were so happy and excited to see all the goodies they received! We love them so much.
