New Moon = New Director + New Jacob Black

So the rumors from weeks ago were true....Catherine Hardwicke will not be directing New Moon or Eclipse. Summit Ent. is hiring Chris Weitz who directed About a Boy (a really good film with Hugh Grant and Rachel Weisz) and The Golden Compass (which wasn't that good and ended abruptly!) - he was also a producer in American Pie (Read the Entertainment Weekly article: http://hollywoodinsider.ew.com/2008/12/its-official-ch.html)
So hopefully Twilight Saga will be like the Harry Potter Series - it got better as the sequels were filmed because each had new directors (i think one of the directors filmed 2 books though, I can't remember). Melissa Rosenberg - You better do New Moon and Eclipse justice.

Also, Taylor Lautner will not be coming back to play Jacob Black - THANK GOODNESS!!!! I was wondering on how the hell they were going to make him look older, more muscular and taller!!! They need a HOT Jacob. Rumors are going around that Michael Copon might play the older Jacob Black. I don't know if you guys remember him from One Tree Hill - he was the one in love with Sophia Bush. He's one HOTTIE PLUS his half or part Filipino. He def has flip in him cause he's been featured in one of the Filipino shows on TFC. My cousin Nicole would love this if he ends up being in the rest of the Twilight Saga - she's always had a thing for him.

Lastly, they are filming New Moon and Eclipse back to back in 2009! More Robsten time together :) I just hope they end up filming Breaking Dawn with Kristen and Robert. I think it would be great to close out the series with a bang ;)
